Tuscarora Fire Protection District responded to 21 calls in 2018 - 90.9 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Tuscarora included 17 fires - nine structure fires, two vehicle fires and six other fires.

The department also received four false calls, including one malicious call and three other false calls.

The Tuscarora Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $41,131 in 2018.
