Timber-Hollis Fire Protection District responded to 27 calls in 2018 - 28.9 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Timber-Hollis included 23 fires - 11 structure fires, two vehicle fires and 10 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $281,000 in fire loss - or about $12,217 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The Timber-Hollis Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $309,330 in 2018.
