Easton Rural Fire Protection District responded to 19 calls in 2018 - 26.9 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Easton Rural included 17 fires - seven structure fires, three vehicle fires and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $13,500 in fire loss - or about $794 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.

The Easton Rural Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $64,887 in 2018.
