Farmington Fire Protection Department responded to five calls in 2018 - 44.4 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Farmington included five fires - three structure fires, one vehicle fire and one other fire.

In all, the department saw $543,600 in fire loss - or about $108,720 per fire.

The Farmington Fire Protection Department had an annual budget of $129,067 in 2018.
