Q1 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Fulton County?

There were 14 offenders released on parole during the first quarter of 2020 that live in Fulton County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows that 11 men and three women were released in Fulton County. The median age of the parolees was 34. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2019, and the oldest was a 66-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2015.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brian P. Meredith. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2010 when he was 29 years old. He is now 39.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
