Brimfield Public Library Board of Trustees met Dec. 14.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Call to Order – Holly More called the regular meeting of the Brimfield Public Library Board of Trustees to order. This meeting took place virtually.

Roll Call - Holly More took Roll Call with the following members present: Angie Sneeringer, Pam Fabish, Shirley Sollenberger, Kathie Hagan, Trip Barton, and Director Cheryl Harlow.

Public Comment - None

Special Business – Cheryl called attention to an outdoor lighting issue that needs repaired. The digital sign, flagpole, and library entrance all have lights out. The sign requires LED replacements. Some of the damage is due to patrons stepping on the lights. More durable designs will be installed. Cheryl reports that the library property is dark for patrons and employees after sunset. Pam Fabish made a motion to hire J. Horn Electric to perform the needed work. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.

Secretary’s Report - Shirley Sollenberger made a motion to approve minutes from the

November meeting. Trip Barton seconded; motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report - Pam Fabish made a motion to approve the November Financial Report. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.

Trip Barton made a motion to approve the December Bills. Angie Sneeringer seconded; motion carried.

Director’s Report - Cheryl Harlow presented the director’s report.

Trip Barton made a motion to approve staff bonuses at the same amount as the 2019 bonuses for each position. Shirley Sollenberger seconded; motion carried.

Adjournment - Shirley Sollenberger made a motion to adjourn. Trip Barton seconded; motion carried.
