City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Feb. 3.
Frozen pipes can be an unwelcome and potentially expensive occurrence when Central Illinois has extremely cold temperatures and wind chills. Running a thin stream of water in a faucet can help prevent costly plumbing repairs.
