Q2 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Fulton County?

There were 10 offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2020 that live in Fulton County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Fulton County were men. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the oldest was a 55-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Dustin R. Jones. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2012 when he was 19 years old. He is now 28.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2020 in each Fulton County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
