City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Feb. 26.
The City of East Peoria seeks an Assistant Finance Director to assist the Finance Director in maintaining the accuracy of the City's daily financial records along with annual budgeting. This position is responsible for overseeing water billing operations, two accounts receivable/payable clerks and two administrative positions, along with the process of semi-monthly payroll functions. Prefer candidates with payroll experience and a four-year degree with supervisory and accounting skills. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and strong leadership skills. Residency within twenty-five (25) miles of the City limits is a requirement. Successful completion of a physical and drug screen is required.
