City of Delavan issued the following announcement on Mar. 19.
I wanted to invite you all to a special opportunity to participate in a Zoom Forum for the upcoming election. The intent of this forum is to allow civic engagement for some of our students that would like to participate in asking questions of candidates. Depending upon the interest level and comfort of the students, this event may be held onsite utilizing Zoom (following established social distancing protocols for schools) or it may be entirely over Zoom with no in-person meeting. I have volunteered to serve as the moderator for the event. I will share the Zoom Meeting info on the Facebook Pages (School and City pages) once I am aware of those planning on attending.
It will be Tuesday, March 23rd @ 7 pm.
Candidates will have the opportunity to provide a brief bio at the beginning, and then students and myself will be asking questions of each candidate.
