San Jose median home prices rose by 3.9% in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in San Jose rose by $1,500 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $40,000 - a 3.9% increase over the $38,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in San Jose in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in San Jose for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $953, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
