Falling home prices in Forest City in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Forest City fell by $24,300 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $38,950 - a 38.4% decrease over the $63,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Forest City in the first half of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Forest City for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $909, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
