Mason City home prices rose in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Mason City rose by $26,750 while total sales increased by 31.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,000 - a 52.2% increase over the $51,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Mason City in the first half of 2020.
