Report: Bradford School District spent $11,620 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Bradford Community Unified School District 1 was up 34.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Stark County school district spent $8,646 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $11,620 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 160 to 147 students over the same period.

Bradford's spending in 2019-20 was 19.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
