QC Campus students join Phi Theta Kappa honor society – Fall 2021

Black Hawk College issued the following announcement on Jan. 12

Black Hawk College welcomed 27 students into the Quad-Cities Campus’ chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society during Fall 2021.

Phi Theta Kappa is recognized as the official honor society for community colleges by the American Association of Community Colleges.

To be eligible for membership, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

The inductees by hometown are:

  • Annawan – Rhett Hulick
  • Atkinson – Ella Crockett
  • Bettendorf, IA – Kayla Freebern, Erica Smith
  • Blue Grass, IA – Alexander Heckroth
  • Coal Valley – Larissa Horton
  • Colona – Devon Roth, William Venneberg
  • East Moline – Hailee Johnson, Katie Lange
  • Galva – Amy Percifield
  • LeClaire, IA – Samantha Swihart
  • Moline – Ruth Hounkpe, Samuel Maynard, Aubrie Mozingo, Aminata Ndiaye
  • Orion – Nathanael Monzon
  • Port Byron – Jade Fritch
