The regularly scheduled meeting of the Village Board of Glasford was convened at 7:00pm. In attendance were Mayor Rudd, Clerk/Treasurer Stetler, Trustees Allen, Randle, Arnold, Godby, and Kingsley. Trustee Sheckler was absent. Also in attendance were Streets/Maintenance Supt. Reimer; Chief Beachler; Randy Voss, Michele Voss and Jill Coats.
Motion for approval of September 16, 2021, board meeting minutes made by Allen, 2nd by Kingsley. Roll call: ALLEN—AYE; RANDLE—AYE; ARNOLD—AYE; GODBY—AYE; KINGSLEY—AYE. Roll call . . . all ayes. Motion carried.
Review of information from public hearing held at 6:30pm, Oct. 21, 2021, regarding vacation of parcel of S. Hickory Street at the intersection of E. Fifth Street.
Motion for approval of Ordinance No. 2021-06 to vacate partial part of S. Hickory Street at the intersection of E. Fifth Street made by Arnold, 2nd by Allen. Roll call: ALLEN—AYE; RANDLE—AYE; ARNOLD—AYE; GODBY— AYE; KINGSLEY—NAYE. Roll call . . . four (4) ayes and one naye. Motion carried.
Jill Coats asked of Board what is being done about abandoned and/or unsafe buildings. Discussion followed.
Motion for approval to pay R.A. Cullinan & Son for seal coating Village streets in the amount of $54,011.01. This amount is $162.68 under the bid amount that was approved at the June 17, 2021, meeting for $54,173.69. made by Allen, 2nd by Kingsley.
