The fourth quarter of 2021: El Paso experienced a 40.3% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in El Paso rose by $46,500 while total sales decreased by 72%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $162,000 - a 40.3% increase over the $115,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in El Paso in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in El Paso for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $2,616, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
