Home prices increased in Rome during the first quarter of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Rome rose by $4,100 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,950 - a 3.5% increase over the $116,850 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Rome in the first quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Rome for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,176, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2022.
