Peoria median home prices rose by 24.7% in April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Peoria rose by $19,000 while total sales decreased by 16 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 221 homes sold, with a median sale price of $96,000 - a 24.7 percent increase over the $77,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 263 homes sold in Peoria in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,423, approximately 2.5 percent of the median home sale price for April.
