April: West Peoria experienced a 16.3% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in April in West Peoria rose by $10,600 while total sales decreased by 20 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $75,500 - a 16.3 percent increase over the $64,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in West Peoria in April 2021.

The median sales tax in West Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,743, approximately 2.3 percent of the median home sale price for April.
