Rep. Tim Butler (R-Springfield) said the Illinois House Republicans organization is hiring.
“If you are interested in a career in public service, Illinois House Republicans is a great place to work,” he wrote on Facebook.
They aren’t alone in looking to hire folks into governmental roles. Illinois is looking to hire for various positions within its governing body.
In his post, Butler shared a link to the Office of the House Minority Leaders' webpage. The page shows what positions are open.
Butler is running uncontested to represent the 95th District in the Nov. 8 general election after defeating Kent Gray in the primary.
In early September, Butler was a recipient of the Champions of Free Enterprise Award from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce.
