In an Oct. 11 Facebook post, Rep. Tim Butler (R-Springfield) announced the endorsement of ABATE of Illinois.
“Thank you ABATE of Illinois, Inc.," Butler posted on Facebook.
In his Facebook post, Butler shared the announcement post from ABATE of Illinois, which read: "State Rep. Tim Butler was the 2021 ABATE of Illinois State Representative of the Year and has worked hard for motorcyclists in Illinois. He clearly has the endorsement of the ABATE of Illinois PAC. Vote Tim Butler on November 8th! #Election2022 #ABATEIL"
This is not the only endorsement that Butler has received. The Illinois Manufacturers Association recently endorsed the representative. In a Sept. 20 Facebook post, Rep. Tim Butler (R-Springfield) acknowledged an award from the Illinois Manufacturers Association. For his legislative work, Rep. Tim Butler got a 97% rating from the IMA. "Every year, the Illinois General Assembly votes on thousands of bills and amendments, many of which have an impact on the manufacturing sector," The Illinois Manufacturers Association said in a post to its Facebook account. "While the global pandemic curtailed much of the spring legislative session in 2020, it showcased the need for a strong and vibrant manufacturing sector in the United States. The IMA’s Manufacturing Scorecard showcases the lawmakers supportive of Illinois’ manufacturing economy and those that vote against job creators. We greatly appreciate those lawmakers who have a strong record of support for the manufacturing sector!"
"Thank you Illinois Manufacturers' Association," Butler said in summation.
According to Ballotpedia, Butler beat challenger Kent Gray with 73.6% of votes in the June primary to become the Republican nominee to represent House District 95. He'll be running unopposed in November's general election.
