City of El Paso Zoning Board of Appeals met Nov. 10.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The City of El Paso Zoning Board Meeting was called to order at 6:06 pm by Chairman, Renee Donaldson.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Roll call was taken with Members Ken Faulk, Nancy Johnson and Renee Donaldson present.

Others present were: Director of Public Service, Barry Kauther, and Chuck Feeney. 

Also present via Zoom was Administrative Assistant, Sandee Kessinger.

The request for a Variance and possible recommendation for Leitrim Land and Development LLC that is requesting an area variance for the property at 77 E. Main Street in The City of El Paso, Illinois. The request is to receive a variance to allow different yard requirements on the east, west, and north side of a proposed building.  Under City Ordinance in Chapter 315-76 Limited Industrial LI District, section B and C required yards, side yards shall be required at least 30 feet in width, and rear yard is required 30 feet in depth or 1/3 the structure height, whichever is greater.

Johnson moved to recommend that the City Council accept the variance request and Faulk seconded the motion. A voice vote was taken of all ayes.

Faulk moved to adjourn the meeting and Johnson seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at  6:15 pm.
