City of Eureka City Council met July 3.

Here is the agenda provided by the council:

1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Roll Call.

3. Approval of Minutes from June 20, 2023 Council Meeting.

4. Approval of minutes of the Committee Meetings held within the prior 30 days. (1st monthly meeting)

5. Treasurer’s Report (2nd monthly meeting).

6. Public Comments on any action to be taken on Agenda items.

7. Approval of semi-monthly bills.  

8. Resolution 23-07, approving the FOP Police Union Agreement for 2023- 2027.

9. Recommendation from Liquor Commission to accept Ordinance 23-11, an ordinance to amend number of liquor licenses to allow a Class A for IceHouse Entertainment Group, Inc.

10. Opening of bids for disposal items.

11. Executive Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(21) review closed session minutes semi-annually

12. Executive Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(C)(5) for the purpose of the discussion of the purchase., lease, or acquisition of property.

13. Resolution 23-08, a resolution regarding the release and non-release of executive session minutes.
