Storm sewer lining and repair work is set to commence on Monday, March 4, throughout all five City Council Districts, lasting for several months at various locations. According to the announcement, periodic lane restrictions will be in place during the work, urging drivers to exercise caution and be aware of workers on site.
The responsibility of conducting the work on behalf of the City falls on J.C. Dillon, Inc., who will utilize a low-pressure, high-volume water jetting machine for the cleaning process. Prior to the commencement of the work, properties in the affected areas will receive notifications through door hangers.
The funding for these annual storm sewer lining and repair projects comes from the City's Stormwater Utility Fund, ensuring the necessary maintenance and improvements are carried out to support the infrastructure.
Residents and commuters in the City Council Districts are advised to stay informed about the ongoing storm sewer work and adhere to any traffic regulations or safety measures put in place during the project.
