The City of Peoria Department of Public Works will host a public meeting regarding the Wisconsin Avenue – Nebraska Avenue to McClure Avenue Rehabilitation Project. The meeting will be from 5:30-6:30 pm on Wednesday, March 20, at the Glen Oak Community Learning Center, 2100 N Wisconsin Ave.
The public and business owners are encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more about the rehabilitation project. Representatives from the City and project team will be available to discuss and answer questions regarding the project. Exhibits and maps will be on display.

About the project:
Beginning in April, weather dependent, the project will begin to reconstruct Wisconsin Avenue and construct new sidewalks on the west side of the road and a multi-use path on the east side of the road.
This project will take place on Wisconsin Avenue from Nebraska Avenue to McClure Avenue. An additional project to reconstruct Wisconsin Avenue from Forrest Hill to McClure Avenue will follow once this project is completed
