City of Chillicothe Plan Commission met April 2.

Here is the agenda provided by the Commission:

1. Call to order: 7:01

3. Public Hearing: The purpose of this meeting is to consider and make recommendations regarding a proposed amendment to Chapter 106 of the Chillicothe Code adding a C-2 Special Use.

5. Discussion: Motion to approve from Jim, Second by Scott, motion carried unanimously.

6. Public Hearing: The purpose of this meeting is to consider and make recommendations regarding re-zoning the following parcel to C-2 – Special Use PIN 05-20-280-031 (615 W. Truitt Avenue)

7. Public input: Scott and Steve Turner sworn in and discussed their intentions for the property. They explained that they can abide by the 8:00-6:00 hours of operation as described in the C-2 Special Use, and they anticipate about 8-10 deliveries per week. 8. Discussion: Rich Greene (1303 N 5th St) said he had previously had a discussion with the Turners regarding the property, and he was in favor of them being granted the Special Use. Jim made a motion to approve, Second by Dennis, motion carried unanimously. After the motion, there was some discussion regarding adding fence restrictions to the Special Use, but because of the time and possible future issues that would cause, the Plan Commission felt that would not be in the city's best interest. The Turners did mention that they had no intention of putting up a fence.
