Peoria Standard

Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, Downtown Peoria streets will be restricted due to the St. Jude Run sponsored by the St. Jude Runners Association.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution and patience throughout the day. The use of alternative routes is recommended, and delays should be expected.

Road closures will occur as follows:

10 a.m. Road Closures:

- S.W. Monroe Street will be closed between N. William Kumpf Boulevard and Main Street from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Noon Road Closures:

- Fulton Street will be closed between Madison and S.W. Monroe Street and S.W. Madison Avenue.

2 p.m. Lane Closures:

- Romeo B. Garrett Avenue will be closed between N. Hightower Street and N. William Kumpf Boulevard.

- W. John H. Gwynn Jr. Avenue will be closed between N. Hightower Street and N. William Kumpf Boulevard.

- Intermittent rolling lane closures will occur from 2 p.m.-5 p.m on N. William Kumpf Boulevard.

5 p.m Road Closures:

- Starting at 5 p.m and lasting until 6 p.m., S.W Monroe Street, Main Street, N.E Jefferson Avenue, and Fulton Street will be closed for the St Jude Runners Parade.

5 p.m Bob Michel Bridge Lane Closures:

- Intermittent rolling lane closures on the Bob Michel Bridge will start at 5 p.m.
