Cities in Tazewell County recorded unchanged number of lawyers practicing law in March

Cities within Tazewell County had no change in the number of lawyers with active licenses compared to the previous month, according to the ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois.

In total, there were 25 active legal licenses recorded in cities in Tazewell County in March.

The city that granted the largest number of these active legal licenses in the county was East Peoria (11).

A 2023 study found Illinois had the fourth-highest number of lawyers per capita in the United States, with nearly five lawyers per 1,000 residents.
