Bradley University's move-in day prompts road closures and parking restrictions

Multiple road closures and parking restrictions will go into effect around the Bradley University campus this week. These restrictions are necessary for Bradley University’s Student Move-In Day.

Drivers should be mindful of these restrictions and use caution in the area. Delays should be expected on N. University Street between W. Columbia Terrace and W. Main Street, and at the N. University Street and W. Main Street intersection.

Parking Restrictions

Parking will not be permitted on these streets during these times:

- W. Bradley Avenue between N. University Street and N. Institute Place from 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, through Saturday, Aug. 17.

- N. University Street between W. Main Street and W. Bradley Avenue from 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, through Saturday, Aug. 17.

- The south side of W. Main Street between N. University Street and N. Elmwood Avenue from 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, through Saturday, Aug. 17.

- N. Elmwood Avenue between W. Main Street and W .Bradley Avenue from 5 p.m .on Friday ,Aug .16 through Saturday ,Aug .17 .

- The Founder’s Circle ,1400 W.St.James Street from 5 p.m.on Friday ,Aug .16 through 8 a.m.on Monday ,Aug .19 .

Road Closures

The following closures will begin at 5 p.m.on Friday ,Aug .16,and will last through Saturday ,Aug .17 :

- Southbound N.Elmwood Avenue between W.Main Street and W.St.James Street .

- Northbound N.Elmwood Avenue at W.Bradley Avenue .

The following closures will occur from 6 a.m.to 6 p.m.on Saturday ,Aug .17 :

- Eastbound W.Bradley Avenue at N.Institute Place .

- Southbound W.St.James Street at N.University Street .
