Rolling lane restrictions will be implemented on several city streets from 3:15 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, September 6, due to the Manual High School Homecoming Parade.
The parade will be escorted by the Peoria Police Department and Peoria Fire Department. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and patience along the route and consider using alternative routes.
The parade will commence at Manual High School, located at 811 S. Griswold Street, proceeding east on W. Lincoln Avenue before heading north on S. Western Avenue. From there, it will travel east on W. Main Street and then north on N. University Street. The procession will continue north on N. University Street before turning east onto E. War Memorial Drive until it reaches Peoria Stadium at 315 E. War Memorial Drive.
