Rolling lane restrictions will be in place on several city streets for the Richwoods High School Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 26. The restrictions will begin at 4 p.m. and last until 6 p.m.
The parade will be escorted by the Peoria Police Department and Peoria Fire Department. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and patience along the route, and to consider using alternative routes.
The parade will start at Richwoods High School, located at 6301 N. University Street, and cross W. Northmoor Road onto N. Rosemead Drive. It will then travel south on N. Rosemead Drive, east on W. Devereux Drive, west on W. Daytona Drive, north on N. Keenland Avenue, and west on W. Oakglen Drive.
From there, the parade will head north on N. Rosemead Drive from W. Oakglen Drive before traveling east on W. Northmoor Road and returning to Richwoods High School.
Drivers should remain alert for rolling lane restrictions during this time.
