City of Peoria Planning & Zoning Commission met Oct. 3.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

CASE NO.  PZ 2029-2024  Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of  Craig Young, of the Salvation Army, to amend with waivers an existing Special Use  Ordinance No. 18,163 in a Class CG (General Commercial) District for an Expansion of a  Nonconforming Social Service Institution (commonly referred to as the Salvation Army) in  order to construct a new building and make parking lot alterations to replace an existing  shelter for the homeless for the property located at 400, 412 and 416 NE Jefferson Avenue  and 401, 403, 405, 407, 409, 411, 413, 415, 417 and 419 NE Adams Street (Parcel  Identification Nos. 18-09-233-013, 18-09-233-007, 18-09-233-006, 18-09-233-012), Peoria,  IL (Council District 3)  

CASE NO.  PZ 2030-2024  Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of  Alvey Signs, on behalf of Martin & Bailey, Inc. to amend existing Special Use Ordinance  Nos. 13,194 and 13,614, as amended, in a Class C2 (Large Scale Commercial) District to  allow for a 135.5 sq. ft. freestanding sign, for the property located at 3819 W War Memorial  Dr and commonly known as the Willow Knolls Shopping Center (Parcel Identification Nos.  13-12-300-022, 13-12-300-018, 13-12-300-020, 13-12-300-024, 13-12-300-030, 13-12- 300-031, 13-12-300-032, and 13-12-302-003), Peoria IL (Council District 4)  

CASE NO.  PZ 2039-2024  Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of  Robert C Hall of Miller, Hall & Triggs, LLC on behalf of the Successor Trustees of the May  L. Thomas Revocable Trust, to approve an Annexation Petition and Annexation Agreement  for the property located at 1033 E Mossville Road, Mossville, IL. The subject property is  identified as Parcel Identification No. 09-27-100-006  

CASE NO.  PZ 2040-2024  Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of  Hoerr Brothers, LLC to amend an existing Annexation Agreement Resolution No. 23-037 to  allow for a Gravel Lay-Down Yard on Lot 3 for the property located at 9601 N Allen Road.  The property is identified as Parcel Identification Nos. 09-31-326-001, 09-31-326-002, and  09-31-326-003, Peoria, IL. (Council District 5)  

CASE NO.  PZ 1984-2024  Continued from Sept  5, 2024 Hearing  

Hold a Public Hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council on the request of Lida  and Daniel Scharfenberg, to obtain a Special Use in a Class R3 (Single Family Residential)  District for a Short Term Rental, for the property located at 4126 N Galena Road (Parcel  Identification No. 14-26-203-020), Peoria, IL (Council District 3)
