Sidewalk construction is progressing at the Liberty Street and SW Adams Street intersection, with work ongoing at both the northeast and northwest corners near 300 Liberty Street and 300 SW Adams Street. Similar activities are also taking place at the Harrison Street and SW Adams Street intersection, specifically at its northwest corner near 400 SW Adams Street.
Liberty Street remains closed to all traffic between SW Adams Street and SW Jefferson Avenue. This closure is anticipated to last six weeks, depending on weather conditions. Traffic from Jefferson Avenue and Adams Street is advised to use Harrison Street as a detour.
New sidewalk removal efforts will soon commence at the northeast corner of N William Kumpf Boulevard and SW Adams Street, near 500 SW Adams Street, as well as at the Main Street and SW Adams Street intersection's northeast corner, close to 100 SW Adams Street.
Lane and parking restrictions continue along SW Adams Street. On-street parking limitations are clearly marked. Drivers should seek unbagged meters for parking availability. Parking meters with "No Parking" signs indicate restricted areas where vehicles should not be parked; violators will face ticketing and vehicle removal costs.
Further parking, lane, and sidewalk restrictions are expected as the One-Way to Two-Way (OWTW) Conversion Project for Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue advances.
