Nebraska Ave road closure planned for reconstruction project starting Oct 28

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 28, North Park Road will be closed at West Nebraska Avenue. This closure is necessary for pavement reconstruction as part of the Nebraska Avenue Reconstruction Project and is anticipated to last two weeks, weather permitting.

Access to Newman Golf Course will remain available from eastbound West Nebraska Avenue. Drivers will also have the option to travel south on North Park Road from eastbound West Nebraska Avenue.

Drivers are reminded to use the marked detour route for the Nebraska Avenue Reconstruction Project.

The detour route suggests that eastbound and westbound through traffic on Nebraska Avenue should utilize West Forrest Hill Avenue from North Sterling Avenue or North University Street.
