FOIA Request to City of Toluca Regarding Unpaid Parking Violations on October 28, 2024.
As a part of our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Peoria Standard have sent a request under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140) to the City of Toluca.
The request specifically seeks records of all parking violations currently unpaid within the city. The details requested include the name of the offender, their address, the amount due for each violation, the date when each violation occurred, and the total amount due from each offender.
Our aim is to gather this information as part of our role in holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
