The GlenOaks Hospital Foundation recently hosted the 2024 Fall Festival of Flavors, an annual fundraiser aimed at supporting UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks. The event took place on Wednesday, November 6, in Glendale Heights, Illinois.

The festival featured signature dishes from a variety of local restaurants, caterers, and bakeries. Participants included La Hacienda, GlenOaks’ Café, Belgio’s Catering, Delish Cakes, Catering with Elegance, Chicago Pastry, Ki’s Steak and Seafood, and Rooster’s Bar and Grill. Live music and a raffle added to the evening's activities.

Funds raised during the event will be used for critical investments in hospital facilities and new technology. Vladimir Radivojevic, president and CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks stated: “Philanthropic support generated from the Fall Festival of Flavors will allow us to invest in our facilities and acquire new technology.” He emphasized that this support is crucial for enhancing "the outstanding whole-person care and services" provided by their team.

Last year's attendees enjoyed coffee and dessert while contributing to the hospital's mission. This year's event once again allowed community members to enjoy offerings from local food providers while supporting a good cause. Community contributions through donations, raffle ticket purchases, and sponsorships were acknowledged as essential for maintaining community health services.
