In the 2022-23 school year, 24.4% of the students in Illini Central Community Unit School District 189 passed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 274 students in Illini Central Community Unit School District 189 who took the ELA portion of the test, approximately 67 (24.4%) passed.

The percentage of Illini Central Community Unit School District 189 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR decreased by 2.1% compared to the previous school year.
