Residential recycling and trash pick-up services will be adjusted following New Year's Day on Wednesday, January 1. All collection routes scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will experience a one-day delay.
For the week following New Year's Day, the schedule is as follows:
- Collections originally set for Monday and Tuesday remain unchanged.
- Those with a Wednesday collection day will have their pick-up moved to Thursday.
- Thursday collections are shifted to Friday.
- Friday collections will occur on Saturday.
Residents are reminded to place their recycling and trash containers out as early as 3 pm the day before their scheduled pick-up and no later than 6 am on the day of collection. Containers should be removed from the curb or alley within 24 hours after pick-up. It is advised that containers be stored in garages or alongside houses or garages, not left on streets or sidewalks.
