The UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group has launched a new primary care office in Lombard, enhancing healthcare access for local residents and expanding its presence in Chicago's western suburbs. The facility, located at 2050 Finley Road, Suite 50, opened on December 9.
Patricia Wallace, interim director of practice operations, highlighted the convenience of the location: “It’s very convenient,” she said. “We’re right off of Finley in between Roosevelt and Cermak. It’s very accessible and easy to get to.”
The services offered at this new location include acute and chronic disease treatment, annual wellness exams, cancer prevention and screening, chronic disease management, family medicine, immunizations and flu shots, management of complex health conditions, medication management, minor office procedures, preventive health screenings, school and sports physicals, and sick visits. Additionally, the facility features an onsite lab with plans to add X-ray services by next spring.
Five experienced family medicine physicians will staff the office: Charles Friedl, DO; James Graziano, MD; Sheri Lyn Evans, DO; Manjari Ranganathan, MD; and Jesse Lauren Kulig, DO. These doctors previously worked together at another Chicago-area healthcare system before joining UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group.
Dr. Friedl expressed enthusiasm about the move: “We’re looking forward to helping UChicago Medicine AdventHealth expand access to primary care services in the Lombard area,” he stated. He emphasized their commitment to compassionate care for patients of all ages.
The Lombard office operates from 7:30 am to 7 pm on Mondays through Wednesdays; from 7:30 am to 8 pm on Thursdays; and from 7:30 am to 4 pm on Fridays. The clinic offers same-day and next-day appointments as well as virtual visits for non-emergency issues like sore throats or fevers.
Patients can schedule appointments by calling 630-819-5600. Current patients of Drs. Friedl, Graziano, Evans, Ranganathan and Kulig are encouraged to visit this new facility where their medical records will be seamlessly accessible due to its electronic medical record system.
This opening marks the addition of a new site among UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group's network which now includes 19 primary care locations out of nearly 50 total sites offering both primary and specialty care services across the region.
