On Monday, March 24, former Lewistown High School standout Kathryn Schmidt’s current collegiate team the Grand Valley State Lakers won 60-32 against the Gannon Golden Knights in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Gannon Golden Knights during the championship.

Kathryn Schmidt’s hometown is Hampshire and game position is forward.
