City of West Peoria Liquor Commission met April 3.

4. Motion to Approve Minutes from the regular meeting of March 11, 2025

5. Liquor Commission Hearing regarding NIYA JIYA PEORIA INC. d/b/a West Peoria Liquors – License #2025-01A for violating the following code sections as shown below:

Section 5-1-25 Possession, Purchase, Dispensing, or Consumption of Liquor by Minors; Proof, Misrepresentation of Age, Section 5-1-26 Sales to Minors, Intoxicated Person, etc. and Section 5-1-28 Illegal Activities on Premises by not allowing access to the cameras and not providing identification to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Officers

a. Motion to Open the Liquor Hearing

b. Swearing in of Witnesses

c. Presenting Evidence

d. Motion to Close the Hearing

6. Motion to go into Executive Session – 5 ILCS 120 / 2 (c) (4) – “Evidence or testimony presented in open hearing, or in closed hearing where specifically authorized by law, to a quasi-adjudicative body, as defined in the Open Meetings Act, provided that the body prepares and makes available for public inspection a written decision setting forth its determinative reasoning” and 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (21) Review of past executive session minutes.
