Sidewalk construction is underway at several intersections along SW Jefferson Avenue and SW Adams Street. This development is part of the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way Conversion Project.
Current sidewalk work is being conducted at the intersections of SW Jefferson Avenue and Liberty Street (southwest corner), SW Jefferson Avenue and Harrison Street (southeast corner), and on SW Adams Street at N William Kumpf Boulevard (northwest and northeast corners).
Signs advise pedestrians to exercise caution in the area and cross streets at the next available intersection when sidewalks are closed.
Parking restrictions are in effect and clearly marked. Drivers are advised to look for unbagged meters for street parking. Spots with meters covered by “No Parking” signs are off-limits.
The project will see additional parking, lane, and sidewalk restrictions as construction continues. Drivers are cautioned to remain alert for construction workers and adhere to no parking signs.
