The City of Peoria Department of Public Works has announced its annual free mulch giveaway days. These will take place from 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday, April 19, and April 26. The location for these events is the Public Works Facility at 3505 N. Dries Lane.
Mulch will be distributed to City of Peoria and Peoria County residents on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents are allowed to take unlimited amounts of mulch. Staff members will be present to assist in loading the mulch into trucks and trailers, although residents also have the option to load it by hand.
