City of El Paso City Council met March 3.

A Regular Meeting of the El Paso City Council was called to order by Mayor Price on March 3, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
Council Members Present: Brucker, Howard, Kilpatrick and Moore. Absent: Ragusa. Zoom: Mool. It was reported that the meeting is being recorded.
Present in Person: Director of Public Services Barry Kauther, Administrative Assistant Sandee Kessinger, Police Chief Joe Montemurro and Clerk David Fever. Also present: Karen Wilkey, Teresa Gauger, Shawn Rigsby, Heather Weber, Marcia Mool and Kim Kearney as the local press.
Also present by Zoom Application: Names on zoom software were Volodymyr Zelensky and Ashley.
Pledge of allegiance to the flag was recited.
Approval of Agenda: Motion by Brucker seconded by Howard to approve the agenda as presented. Voice vote taken of all ages.
Consent Agenda.
Council Minutes: The minutes of February 17, 2025, the City Council Meeting were presented in written form.
Parks and Recreation Minutes: The minutes of February 17, 2025, Parks and Recreation Committee Meeting were presented in written form.
Register of Bills: The Register of Bills in the amount of $ 35,991.88 as of March 3rd was presented.
Approval of Consent Agenda: Motion by Mool, seconded by Moore to approve items on consent agenda. Voice call vote taken of all ayes.
Public Comments: Heather Weber was present and spoke an incident in her yard of the neighbors chickens running at large and the Police involvement. Her biggest concern was her employment does not allow her to have contact with any chickens outside of their plants. Chief to check on follow up by Officer.

New Business:
Director of Public Service: Report was presented in written form and he spoke of an opening after remodeling at Kirby Foods to be Wednesday morning. He also thanked Sandee and Ron for making some improvements to the Council Room Audio System.
Mayor's Report: Spoke of the Woodford County CEO program held at our Police Department.
City Council Comments: Mary Ellen reminded of the gathering of Veteran's Names to be added to Veterans Memorial.
Police Chief Report: Written presented and he spoke of the large number of people in town at EPG Show Choir Showdown last Saturday.
City Attorney: Attorney Stoller was absent,
City Clerk: The Clerk had nothing additional to report.
Motion by Mool seconded by Howard to adjourn. Voice vote taken of all ayes. The meeting was adjourned at 7:32 PM.
