Beginning at 9 am on Tuesday, April 8, North Radnor Road will be closed to through traffic between West Ridgeview Road and West Alta Lane. This temporary closure is intended to accommodate paving work at the railroad crossing. The work is expected to be completed in one day, assuming weather conditions allow.
During the closure, access on North Radnor Road past West Ridgeview Road to the railroad crossing, and from West Alta Lane to the railroad crossing, will be restricted to residential traffic and emergency vehicles only.
Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution in the vicinity of the closure and consider using alternative routes. "Drivers should exercise caution in the area and be mindful of the closure. The use of alternative routes is advised," the advisory noted.
A suggested detour route has been provided for motorists affected by the closure. Those traveling northbound and southbound should use North Allen Road from West Alta Lane or West Willow Knolls Drive as an alternative path.
