Sidewalk removals have commenced at the intersection of SW Harrison Street and SW Jefferson Avenue. The sidewalk near 400 SW Jefferson Avenue is now closed to pedestrians.

The work on the southeast corner of SW Jefferson and Harrison Street is complete and that sidewalk is open to pedestrian traffic. However, construction continues at the following locations: the southwest corner of SW Jefferson Avenue and Liberty Street, the northwest corner of SW Adams Street and N William Kumpf Boulevard, and the northeast corner of SW Adams Street and N William Kumpf Boulevard.

Pedestrians should exercise caution and utilize the nearest intersection for crossing when sidewalks are closed. For drivers, on-street parking is restricted and marked accordingly. If parking meters are covered with “No Parking” signs, parking is prohibited.

Further restrictions related to parking, lanes, and sidewalks will be announced as the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way (OWTW) Conversion Project progresses. In this area, drivers should be cognizant of construction workers and the designated no parking zones.
