Starting on April 15 at 7 a.m., Oak Street will be closed to all traffic between SW Washington Street and SW Commercial Street. This closure is a necessary part of the Depot Street Construction Project and is anticipated to continue through mid-summer, depending on weather conditions.
During the closure, parking restrictions will be enforced along Oak Street, with parking prohibited throughout this period. However, parking will still be accessible in the lots situated along SW Commercial Street. For access to these parking areas, drivers are advised to use State Street.
Motorists should remain aware of the closure and exercise caution in the vicinity while the construction work is underway.
