Daytime lane closures are scheduled to start on Moss Avenue on Monday, April 21. The closures will begin at 7 am and stretch from N Cooper Street to N Western Avenue. This initiative is part of the Moss Avenue Reconstruction Project that runs from Western Avenue to Sheridan Road. The closures are expected to last two weeks, depending on weather conditions.
Currently, traffic on Moss Avenue is restricted to one-lane, one-way movement. The upcoming lane closures will result in Moss Avenue being completely closed to traffic from N Cooper Street to N Western Avenue during daylight hours, but will reopen each evening.
Flaggers will be stationed to assist with traffic direction. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution in the area and to heed the closures and flagger instructions. Alternative routes are recommended for those traveling in and through the area.
