Today, Congressman Darin LaHood from Illinois released a statement acknowledging the accomplishments of President Trump during the first 100 days of his second term in office. LaHood commented on several key areas where he believes the administration has successfully advanced its agenda.

"In just 100 days, President Trump and House Republicans are delivering on the promises we made to the American people," Rep. LaHood remarked. He praised the Trump Administration for its approach to border security, deporting violent illegal immigrants, and other community safety measures. He also mentioned initiatives in national security, stating that Trump's leadership has given a clear message to foreign adversaries. "President Trump’s national security team is bolstering our defense and cyber capabilities to counter the Chinese Communist Party and moving forward with maximum pressure on the leading state sponsor of terrorism—Iran."

LaHood expressed his intention to collaborate with Congress to further President Trump’s investments nationwide. He highlighted the past tax cuts from 2017 and underscored the importance of extending these cuts to continue economic growth. Emphasizing measures against government waste, LaHood supports measures that would help small businesses and farmers thrive. "Congressional Republicans and President Trump are committed to bringing down inflation, supporting our economy, and continuing to work hard for the American people."
